3 Best Chicken Recipes for the Air Fryer

We love the air fryer! It’s rapid, it never makes a big greasy mess — and it’s a better way to fry because it uses only a fraction of the fat of regular fryers, yet still cooks food to a crispy, crunchy finish.

1-Air Fried Maple Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 4 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs

Dry Mix:

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup tapioca flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ½ teaspoon honey powder

Directions

—Step 1

first of all Combine buttermilk, maple syrup, egg, and 1 teaspoon granulated garlic in a resealable bag. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least one hour or up to overnight in the fridge.

After Combine flour, tapioca flour, salt, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, granulated onion, pepper, cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic, and honey powder in a shallow bowl.

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thighs

Directions

—Step 1

First Combine buttermilk and hot sauce in a shallow dish; mix to combine.

After Combine tapioca flour, garlic salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper in a resealable plastic bag then shake to combine.

  • 2 (12 ounces) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions
