Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesans cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
First slash chicken into 1.5 to 2 inch ‘nugget-shaped’ pieces.
Then grab three bowls. In the first bowl, add the eggs.
After put in the flour to the second bowl.
Then add the panko, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, onion powder and garlic powder to the third bowl and combine to combine.
Using tongs or a fork, toss chicken pieces to coat in the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumb combination. Put on a clean plate and repeat until all chicken bites are coated.
Heat your air fryer to 200 °C/390 °F. Working in batches, add the chicken nuggets to the air fryer basket and cook for four (4) minutes.
Then flip, and cook for 3 more minutes, or until cooked through and 165 °F or no longer pink in the middle.
Repeat with all chicken nuggets until they are all cooked through.
Finally, serve with ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
